Hepatitis A Paediatric Injection: Single Dose

Young travellers over the age of one visiting a region where hepatitis A is common, or where there is limited access to safe and clean water, should have the hepatitis A vaccine. You should have your vaccination at least 2 weeks before you travel. It will be given as an injection in the upper arm. A single dose of the hepatitis A vaccine gives protection for a year. A follow-up booster at 6-12 months after the first dose will provide protection for 25 years. Suitable for children aged one to 17.
